One of the highlights of my recent visit to Peru was no doubt, Rainbow Mountain. Like most visitors, my major must do was to see Machu Picchu, so I thought if I could make it work, I would fit in Rainbow Mountain.

Like many other tourists, I too had reservations. I too wrestled with moral and ethical issues because I was told that they were being used by the Thai government as part of the tourist attraction and like so many others, I wanted no parts of that!
